  • The Genie, the Pianist, and the Million Ducks

A guy walks into a bar carrying a briefcase and an old brass lamp.

He sits down and sets both on the bar.

The bartender pours him a drink and asks, “What’s in the briefcase?”

The man opens it to reveal a tiny man sitting at a piano, playing beautifully.

“Where on earth did you get that?” the bartender asks.

The man points to the lamp. “A genie. He granted me a wish.”

“No way,” says the bartender. “Can I try?”

    “Be my guest.”

The bartender rubs the lamp, and out pops a genie.

“What is your wish?” asks the genie.

The bartender thinks for a moment and says, “I want a million bucks!”

    The genie claps his hands.

Instantly, the bar is filled with a million ducks.

Ducks are everywhere. On the tables, behind the bar, hanging from the light fixtures.

    The bartender stares in disbelief.

“What’s wrong with this genie?” he shouts. “He must be hard of hearing!”

The man takes a sip of his drink and says, “You think? Do you really believe I wished for a 12-inch pianist?”

  • The Adult Toy Shop and the Checkered Thermos

The owner of an adult toy shop was training his new employee on the rules, how things worked, and the price list of their products.

“The only items without price tags are the dildos kept behind the cashier counter.

The white ones are $10, and the black ones are $25.

Everything else in the store already has the price marked on it.

Now, I’m heading out for a bit to take care of something important. I’ll be back in about an hour or two.”

Business went smoothly for an hour, until finally a customer asked about the items kept behind the counter.

    “How much are those toys?”

“The white ones are $10, and the black ones are $25.”

“Oh, those are nice! How much is that one with the checkered pattern?”

Thinking quickly on his feet, the employee replied, “That one is $200.”

    “SOLD! I’ll take it!”

An hour later, the owner returned and asked how business had been while he was gone.

“It was booming, Boss! I managed to sell five of the white ones and ten of the black ones. And I also got $200 for that checkered thermos of yours you had sitting back there!”

  • Little Johnny and the Spelling Lesson

A teacher asked her third grade class to name things that ended with “tor” and that also ate things.

The first little boy said, “Alligator.” “Very good James, that’s a big word.”

The second boy said, “Predator.” “Yes, that’s another big word Alan, well done.”

    Little Johnny says, “Vibrator.”

After nearly falling off her chair, the teacher says, “That’s a big word Johnny, but it doesn’t eat anything.”

“Well my mother has one and she says it eats batteries like there’s no tomorrow!”

  • The Toothbrush in the Toilet

My 4-year-old grandson came screaming out of the bathroom to tell me he’d dropped his toothbrush in the toilet.

So I fished it out and threw it in the garbage.

He stood there thinking for a moment… then ran to my bathroom and came back with my toothbrush.

He held it up with a charming little smile and said, “We better throw this one out too… ’cause it fell in the toilet a few days ago.”

  • The Christmas and Easter Churchgoer

A Pastor was standing at the church door greeting people after service.

One man walked by and the Pastor grabbed his hand and said, “Brother, you need to join the Army of the Lord!”

The man looked confused and said, “I’m already in the Army of the Lord, Pastor.”

The pastor whispered, “Then how come I only see you at Christmas and Easter?”

The man leaned in and whispered back, “Because I’m in the secret service.”

  • Get a Hobby

A man is talking to his therapist. “Doc, I feel like I’m wasting my life. All I do is sit around reading fantasy books. Must be my 50th time going through Tolkien. I feel so directionless.”

The therapist tells him, “I would suggest finding a real hobby. One that gets you out of the house. Try it this week and come back.”

The man shrugs. “Well, I guess it’s worth a shot.”

The man goes back the following week and is on cloud nine. “Doc! I took your advice and I’ve had the best week ever. I must have been to a dozen different pubs, I went foraging for mushrooms, and I’ve been on all sorts of adventures.”

“That’s great to hear. What did you do different?”

“Instead of telling you, why don’t I show you?”

The man opens the door and pulls in a little person with shaggy hair, bare feet, and smoking a long wooden pipe.

The therapist is confused. “What does this person have to do with your new hobby?”

There’s a long pause before the man replies, “Ohhh. Did you say get a hobby?”

  • A Pinch of Gun Powder on Your Oatmeal

A tough old cowboy from Texas counseled his granddaughter that if she wanted to live a long life, the secret was to sprinkle a pinch of gun powder on her oatmeal every morning…

The granddaughter did this religiously until the age of 103, when she died.

She left behind 14 children, 30 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great-grandchildren, and a 40-foot hole where the crematorium used to be.

  • Id Like to Be Eight Again

A man was sitting on the side of the bed watching his wife, who was looking at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off, he asked her what she would like as a gift.

“I’d like to be eight again,” she said, still looking in the mirror.

On the morning of her birthday, he rose early, made her a bowl of Frosted Flakes, and then took her to Adventure World theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park… the death slide, the wall of fear, the screaming roller coaster… just to name a few.

Five hours later, they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling, and her stomach felt upside down. He then took her to McDonald’s where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate milkshake.

Then it was off to a movie with popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M’s! What a fabulous adventure!

Finally, she wobbled home with her husband and fell into bed, exhausted.

He leaned over his wife with a big smile, “What was it like to be eight again?”

She opened her eyes, and her expression suddenly changed.

“I meant my dress size, you idiot!”

Moral of the story: Even when a man is listening, he’s going to get it wrong.

  • Best Two Years of My Life

I asked my cousin what his favorite grade in school was.

    “3rd.”

    “Why?”

“Best two years of my life.”
